StarBase Announces October Programming

StarBase announces its October programming celebrating a variety of unmatched events.

The upcoming month will serve an abundance of entertainment including special guests like drag star Edie, comedian Bret Ernst, and DJ The Dreamer, as well as an opportunity to attend a football watch party with your fellow comrades. Travel outside of this world with StarBase’s first alien vs zombie Halloween experience to top off the spooky season.

October 10 – Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears Football Viewing Party

Join StarBase for its “Comradery” watch party, an unparalleled indoor/outdoor football viewing party experience featuring food trucks offerings, drink specials, DJs, raffles, games, and an after-party all while being a five-minute walk from Allegiant Stadium. Games will be shown on big screen projectors and multiple TVs throughout the venue.

When: Sunday, Oct. 10 Las Vegas Raiders vs Chicago Bears starting at 12 p.m.
Tickets: Complimentary entry. RSVP recommended for the after-party; $30 parking for game ticket holders

October 16 – Edie Unleashed and STARFIRE Dance Party

Edie’s “UNLEASHED!” capitalizes her journey as her career transformed from ballet to Broadway, to Cirque du Soleil’s “ZUMANITY,” and now her first solo show in over a decade. This high-energy, high kickin’, semi-autobiographical performance showcases her career through song, stories, comedy, videos, and lots of dancing. The show is inspired by Liza, Ann Reinking, and Barbra Streisand, all while celebrating her own achievements and finally taking advantage of her new freedom within the entertainment industry. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to Golden Rainbow, a nonprofit organization providing housing, education, and direct financial assistance to men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS in Southern Nevada.

When: Saturday, Oct. 16 from 8:30-9:30 p.m.

October 28 – Comedian Bret Ernst

Failed to Render, the world’s first virtual reality comedy club hosts a hybrid live/virtual event with stand-up comedian Bret Ernst who has been featured on Netflix, HBO, Comedy Central, and Cobra Kai and special guest Kris Tinkle as they take the stage live from Las Vegas at StarBase. The live and virtual comedy show will be hosted by Fail To Render’s Kylie Render and Al Gonzales. The standup comedians will be on stage while simulcasting their show in VR, presented on the big screens that can be viewed from anywhere in the country. The audience can participate through a custom-built virtual reality world via VR headset through the social platform Altspace VR or in person.

When: Thursday, Oct. 28 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Tickets: GA tickets are $20; VIP tickets are $50 (includes VIP treatment, meet and greets with the talent after the show)

October 28- Encounters: Aliens vs Zombies Immersive Halloween Experience

StarBase hosts “Encounters: Aliens vs Zombies,” an immersive Halloween experience with beats by The Dreamer in addition to the Alien Autopsy NFT Attraction, virtual reality games, XR dance floor, Ready Player Me Avatar Creation Station, and a costume contest with a $250 cash prize. Come dressed as a zombie or an alien and get a free shot at 11:11 p.m. This Halloween-themed extravaganza has a variety of Instagrammable moments and drink specials all night long.
