HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company Inc., and brand leader in gaming and esports, today announced Filip Forsberg, the Swedish professional ice hockey player and captain of the Nashville Predators, as its latest brand ambassador. Filip joins a growing line up of internationally recognized talent on the HyperX roster including US Grammy award winner Post Malone, US football player Juju Smith-Schuster and international football players, Raphaël Varane, Dele Alli, and Marco Reus.
Filip, who’s competed in the World Championship Finals and Stanley Cup Finals, is an avid player of popular video games such as NHL, FIFA, and, to varied success, Fortnite. He explains, “My love of gaming probably started back when I played Sonic and NHL 94 on SEGA. Gaming for me is a way to relax and socialize with friends. Filip will join HyperX’s global campaign, “We’re All Gamers,” which launched in Europe earlier this year and has already received over 165 million impressions. Filip will join the animated gaming spirits of Post Malone and Marco Reus who transform into gaming spirits with unique powers inspired by their real-life features and talents.
